It's not called the Centro de Aprendizagem (Centre of Learning) for nothing - its where we spend all day teaching. Some people have expressed an interest in what it is I do all day, so here is that information.

Some examples of resources I use in lessons.
Shakespeare
This is a fairly typical complete-the-gaps type excercise. Once I have taught the main concept these sort of things are used to show the language in use and reinforce the idea in the mind of the student. It's blown up really big and stuck up on the board for the students to copy into their notes. This particular example is used during the teaching of the past tense of the verb to be. If the answers are stumping you, here's a hint: most of the words are with was or were.
William Shakespeare was a                     . He                                           in Stratford, England, in                     . His wife’s name                      Anne and his children’s names                      Susannah, Hamnet, and Judith. Susannah                      in 1582, and Hamnet and Judith                                           in 1585.
